A woman was rushed to hospital after two cars crashed.
Emergency services were called to the scene in High Road, Whetstone, on Thursday (March 2) at 9.11pm.
One of the drivers, a woman believed to be in her 60s, was taken to hospital for treatment.
The Metropolitan Police said this morning they were awaiting an update on her condition.
No other serious injuries were reported, the force said.
The road remains closed both ways between Totteridge Lane and Chandos Avenue.
As a result there is currently congestion to Totteridge Lane and St Margaret’s Avenue behind Waitrose supermarket.
Some bus routes are being diverted from the area including the 34, 234, 263 and 326.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash continue.
