Police used a battering ram to force entry to a house after being called to a “disturbance” over the weekend.

Officers were called to Camden Road, Camden, at around 7.45pm on Sunday (May 5).

Video footage posted to X showed at least two officers using a battering ram to try to break down the door while a crowd looked on.

A police spokesperson confirmed that officers were eventually able to successfully force entry to the house.

A man was found inside with injuries to his face. These have since been assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH).

She was taken into custody but has since been bailed to return to a date in mid-June.
