Our ancestors would be spinning in their graves if they knew that the far-right British National Party has set up a group in Potters Bar (BNP seeks election in Potters Bar', Barnet & Potters Bar Times, March 2).
I would credit the people of Potters Bar with the understanding that just one of the BNP's many fundamental flaws is that their entire appeal is based upon an individual's negative emotions alone, which they prey upon with some kind of soppy sentimentality, backed up with the apportioning of blame to others.
How very un-British. They would lead you absolutely nowhere.
